I appreciated the quaint style of Hotel Montepiana. The location is a highlight. Just a five-minute walk to the train station made accessing Venice convenient. The free parking was a huge plus, great for easy travel without worrying about my vehicle. We received excellent service from the staff, who kindly accommodated our early arrival and offered helpful recommendations for dining nearby. The room, although small, was clean and well-maintained. I enjoyed the air conditioning, especially in the summer heat. The mattress felt a bit too stiff for my comfort, which affected my sleep quality. The bathroom could benefit from a more spacious shower space. It felt cramped at times. Breakfast also presented some confusion regarding whether it was included in our stay, hindering our experience. Despite these minor setbacks, I would consider returning for its overall value and charm.

Although initially not easy to find it's location is excellent. Close to train station only one euro to Venice. The room spacious and clean , the breakfast simple but sufficient , cost very reasonable so great value, the staff friendly and helpful,, free parking for car I would recOmmend this hotel to the budget type traveller looking to stay close to Venice. Geoffrey
Would be easier if had an elevator, but that should not stop you from choosing this hotel

For easy access to Venice, consider taking the train from Mestre station instead of driving into the city-it saves time and hassle.

The location is a walking-distance to train station. If you are on a budget- trip, this hotel is suitable as it is located not far away from Venezia. You can catch bus no 2 from Stazione bus stand (which located in front of the train station) to Venice. You can buy travelling ticket (12-hrs, 24-hrs or 48-hrs) at machine at the train station. It is located near supermarket and if you are a muslim, there are 2 halal restaurants located near the train station. Even if you are looking for a transportation to the airports, you can wait for a bus at in front of the train station, there will be busses to Marco Polo Airport and Traviso Airport. Just alert on the signage around the train station.
Surprisingly, there were mosquitos around the room.

The location was perfect for a short visit to Venice. 2 minutes from the bus stop, 5 minutes from the train station. There's also a nearby supermarket. The hotel is located on a peaceful small alley, short walking from the main street, but still very quiet and peaceful. The manager was very friendly and helpful, gave us good tipps and allowed us to leave our car in the hotel's parking and some food in the refrigirator and to use the toilets after we checked out until our departure.
We took a room for 4, which was quite small and the bathroom and shower were a bit poky. No elevator. Breakfast is very basic (Italian standards).

The staff helped with our bags and stored them while we explored Venice. The rooms were clean and had good closet space. It was priced fairly for the area. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Air conditioning was perfect in the heat 😊

quiet residential neighbourhood, easy access to train, nearby supermarket
The stairs to the reception are a real hassle!!! The shower was uncomfortably small for any reasonably sized person. More variety in bathroom amenities would definitely enhance the experience!!!

Perfect location for visiting Venice! very near to train and bus stations! staff very friendly but some of them don't speak English. Good Italian breakfast.
Quite noisy in the building, very thin walls, old windows, when you move, jump or close a door, practically the whole room is making noise. Very small parking - you have to leave them keys to your car as they move cars when needed but in the end it was not so problematic. Not mamy restaurants in the area - on the 3rd day when we wanted to eat after 22 we had to go 1km from the hotel.

Everything - reasonable comfort, convenient location for visiting Venice (including car parking), very friendly - even to minorities like smokers. Exellent price to quality value.
